OUTSIDE LECTURE ROOM ACTIVITY AS A COMPONENT OF STUDIES OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN TOURISM

         Nowadays preparation of specialists in tourism is very popular and promising approach in educational process. This profession has a great demand in the labour market. That is why the appropriate studies of highly-qualified and skilled professionals in the very sphere should be a must for higher educational establishments and for teachers in particular. However not only studies but also outside lecture room activity should be taken into consideration concerning preparation of future specialists in tourism.

Besides the studies pedagogues should pay their attention to students' spending free time. It must be organized in such a way that students should continue their preparation to some extent that is not to waste but to spend free time more rationally. Not enough cultural level, lack of moral rules and pro forma attitude to professional duties leads to quality decrease of professional activity of the specialist. It is peculiar for professions that deal with work with people, especially in tourism sphere. It concerns communication while travelling, intercultural relations, different excursions organizing and conducting, studying of target cultures and so on.

         At present educational work in higher educational establishments is not systemic because outside lecture room activity is not enough connected with educational process and includes only one-time actions [2].

         Many scientists devoted their works to the problem of students' education in higher educational establishments. For example: I.Beh, S.Goncharenko, O.Sukhomlynska, V.Zhuk, V.Fedorchenko, T.Osypova and others.

         Peculiarities of education of future specialists in tourism are in the development of their professional skills basing upon the studied and practical using. The future specialist in tourism should master the following features: communication, professional culture, tolerance, knowledge of native land, fluent mastery of foreign languages, respect to other nationalities and forming of practical experience basing upon different cultures values.

         The activity of higher educational tourist establishment as educational system is described in "Pedagogics of tourism" (V.Fedorchenko, N.Fomenko) [6]. According to the work we can differentiate student individuals, determination of the beginning level of the future specialist, education of active citizen position, responsibility for destiny of Motherland, growing generation, professional dignity, forming of spiritual, ecological and economic culture, respect to other nationalities that live in Ukraine, their culture and customs, education of future specialist in tourism in all spheres, development of students' self-government in the organization of educational work in groups, different circles, students hostel, scientific and pedagogical and methodical training of young teachers, curators to educational work with students, providing of connection between the aims and tasks of educational system and giving different pieces of advice to teachers and other educational establishments in the education work organization.

         Outside lecture room activity in higher educational establishments influences the results of general educational process. There are many forms of outside lecture room activity in higher educational establishments: individual, group and mass.

         A.Makarenko said that the educational action is effective only when it is included into the system of educational actions [5].

         According to V.Zhuk educational actions should take place in auditoria in the form of mass or group actions to involve all the students but it contradicts the principle of free will and complex approach and being busy of students after lessons [3]. As for clubs their activity should be connected with social environment in particular with enterprises, schools, cultural establishments, creative organizations, societies. But the work of clubs should be based on series of actions that are included into the system of educational actions.

         In higher educational tourist establishments organization of outside lecture room activity has professional approach. It may include organization of cognitive tours, excursions, clubs according to interests etc.

         Communication is of great importance in professional activity of specialists in tourism. The main function of communication in tourist education is in exchange of cognitive activity results among individuals. It influences perceptive, attention characteristics of the personality. Besides, communication is connected with emotions that are regulators of human communication. Polycultural  environment in which the tourist exists optimizes not only psychological processes but also the processes of personality development and social relations.

         Educational actions must encourage forming of skills of labour culture, motivation of interest to professional and human values. Cultural approach in education of future specialists in tourism is of great importance. Education of national self-consciousness, sense of being proud and respect to national history, culture, traditions and customs of Ukrainians must be combined with respect and tolerant attitude to people of other nationalities especially in the process of international tourist activity.

         So, content, methods and forms of educational outside lecture room activity in the preparation of future specialists in tourism provides entity of educational process in tourism and dependence of its components. In particular tourist education realizes principles and rules of education. The most important conditions of effective organization of education work in outside lecture room activity is its professional approach, forming of professional culture and ability to intercultural communication in polycultural environment, motivation of interest to professional and human values.
